I think just the fact that the whole team unanimously voted to go to the Music City Bowl instead of the Independence Bowl so they can stay 3 extra days at home during X-Mas, to play Minny instead of Nebraska, tells you about their motivation for winning this game. Minny is not a better team, but they're playing way better than the Hogs today. Bad capping on my part, I didn't think that would be that big of a factor.
