More details on the Lex Luger story. We have now learned that the female wrestler involved in the incident at Lex Luger's home early this morning was former WCW valet and his long time companion, Miss Elizabeth.

Authorities responded early this morning to a 911 call placed by Luger
(Larry Pfohl) when Elizabeth (Elizabeth Hulette) was rushed to a local
hospital where she later died.

We have confirmed that Luger was taken into custody by authorities this
morning; however, it is unknown whether any charges have been filed against him.

The local Atlanta media has been reporting that police responded to a
domestic disturbance call at Luger's residence on Easter morning. There has been no word whether or not this morning's incident involved violence.

More updates as this story unfolds. Remember, Luger has not been charged with anything yet.

Wrestling Star Arrested on Drug Charge

POSTED: 12:12 p.m. EDT May 1, 2003
UPDATED: 5:18 p.m. EDT May 1, 2003

MARIETTA -- Cobb County police on Thursday arrested the former professional wrestler known as Lex Lugar after authorities found a controlled substance in his home while investigating the death of a woman who died after she was rushed early Thursday from his residence to the hospital.

Elizabeth Hulette, 42, who was known in the wrestling world as Miss Elizabeth, was taken from the Cobb town home owned by Lawrence Pfohl, the athlete who wrestled professionally as Lex Lugar.

Rescue workers were summoned around 5:30 a.m. to the home, which is located off of Powers Ferry Road, Cobb police spokesman Cpl. Brody Staud said.

He said the woman died at Kennestone Hospital shortly after she arrived, but authorities have not yet determined her cause of death.

"At this point, we don't know if it's a suicide, we don't know if it's a natural death (and) we don't know if it's a homicide," said Staud, who added later that there was no indication of said.

The woman was transported to Kennestone by ambulance. Authorities said Pfohl rode with her to the facility. Police declined to identify the woman who lived at the home or say if it was the same woman who was transported to the hospital.

Neighbors said the woman was Pfohl's girlfriend.

Several hours after Hulette was pronounced dead, Pfohl was taken into custody after investigators found the illegal substance in his home. Authorities said the recently responded to a domestic disturbance call at the home, during which Pfohl was arrested for allegedly beating Hulette, according to a copy of the police report.
