Question on Miss St this year on their returning starters, is their QB from last year their normal starting QB? If so, he really sucked from games 7 on.

Any feedback on what Mullen will have up his sleeves this year is appreciated. They have a nucleus to be very good in the SEC, they won't beat Bama but they will be in the top 3-4 each year as long as Mullen doesn't let some clown play QB like they had last year, he was horrible, missing receivers by a mile and basically, imho, only from watching replays and his tendencies, looked as though he was throwing the game away purposely.

Russell will be the starter this year. He's a good QB, but at times tries to do too much... basically try to erase a DD deficit with one play... Presscott is the back up QB who is more of a dual threat QB... Both will have bigger targets this year to throw to, which will be very beneficial... MSU's biggest liability is the play from their tackles on the O-Line... if they play well then the play from the QB's will be good...

Russell? OK. Yeah, he kinda played like Dr Jeckyl/Mr Hyde last year. I saw him early, he looked great then he went into a funk, as did the team. Hopefully he matures from that lil lull and adjusts.

Thanks Corley, for the info!! :toast:
