I just probably the most improbable win in my betting career. Sure hate it for anyone on the other side though...
I hate taking the Under in college football. I took Under 27 1/2 in 2nd Half of Bowling Green game. I swear, if it had been 27, I probably would have gone Over. Its amazing how the kicker just barely got a couple extra points through in the 1st half and the announcers would talk about it every time.
3 quick touchdowns in the 3rd quarter. When they scored the 4th touchdown....something like 13 mins to play....I was about to switch it but said...well, I'll make sure of the extra point. I saw a jailbreak on the left side, and sure enough....blocked it.
I was thinking, well prob no field goals for either team now....let's just see how long this thing can last. NIU got close and got stopped, got it back and threw an INT deep in BG territory. Then, near very end, I think I've got it....and the dude breaks off a 61-yard TD run....where he barely stays in bounds. And.....a holding penalty that brings it back and they run the last 2 minutes out.
I've been on the other side so many times, but a loss in this one (on the Over) would be absolutely brutal. I will take it. Go Heels tomorrow night!!! Let us in that damn playoff!!!
