When you do it the Tony Robbins way, there are no barriers. Ironically, his big mouth and toothy smile looks a whole lot like this guy's: :D

Didn't you say you were quitting at +50. You didn't mean that, did you?

Nighthorse..........

Nighthorse..........

Tony Robbins needs to teach some math and fractions along with the "positive" think'n and motivation stuff!

It's 3/5's "W" & 2/5's "L" (What was I think'n 2/3, 1/3?)

CRAZY......when ya stop and think about all that HARD WORK for just 1/5 more wins than losses. That really does show just how TUFF this ATS game is.

I appreciate your replies Trampled Underfoot (keep that funk alive), TJBELL and MrChristo......IT HAS BEEN A LONG NBA SEASON.

I've grown to respect many posters here at MJ's who I'll miss in the off-season (at least until College Foots).

Man....I know I shouldn't start naming names but:

nighthorse, TJBELL, MrChristo, dnuggets (man we lost a good one when he left!) pplargo, Antonio, gsp, Roger, Dragon, Spock, Trampled Underfoot, Always Prayen, Nolan Dalla, JT Sneaks and Randercity (fathers of the NBA HT tradition as we know it today), vanbasten, countinguy, Investment Executive cooz3, Patience, Valuist, kcwolf, Thunder, wareagle, DIMEDADDY, ussrv, mcity, Hoops, Mr. Mom, wigs, thunderdoll, bosco, STEEL CITY SELECTIONS, NickleBack, #cruncher, taipans, kevinmac 99, Guerilla Ninja and MadJack......

are all members who posted something positive in one of my threads at some point during the season.

(IF I LEFT YOU OUT......I APOLOGIZE AND PLEASE POST IN TO REMIND ME! I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOU JOGGING MY MEMORY.....PLEASE.)

Thanks to the "old hands" at MadJacks like: Antonio, Nolan, gsp, Roger, kcwolf, JT Sneaks, RC, IE and Hoops who at least talked to this "new" guy.

Also, I really appreciate Dragon, Spock, dnugs, MrChristo, nighthorse, TJBELL, Always Prayen, cooz3, vanbasten, countinguy, wigs, Trampled Underfoot and Gerilla Ninja whom I consider good friends with numerous posts and conversations together.......you guys are why I persevered the bad beats like that scoreless Wizard's final 4 minutes of the President's Day game with Houston!

However, the game I'll always remember this season will be that Wizards/Suns 97-96 Firday night game on Feb. 15 when Nesby turned the ball over leading to a Suns' score for a 1 point lead with seconds to go.......setting up MJ's buzzer beater!!!! I went 8-0 that night play'n the underdog Wiz and various 1H and 2H plays on the team and over!! What a thrill that night was and always will be.

Then, that Friday night (I know AP remembers) the HT Team was on FIRE......when everything that we "put up...went in"! We SMOKED the man that night. I remember everybody was on the over 2H in that LAC game (and suck'n air) until a 70+ point 4th period!! WOW.....that's the stuff legends are made of.

If I have one regret or wish.....it would be that this forum "loosens up" a little bit. We seem to be a very clickish bunch and I honestly think there are folks on this board who's "acknowledgment of respect" you ain't never going to get......so don't even try.

That's very unfortunate because teamwork and interaction among the membership suffers as a result.

If I return to post here again next year......I hope I'll always remember to be like Antonio, gsp, Roger, JT Sneaks and Hoops......who often took the time to prop the "new" guys and cultivate a few more successful cappers.

Man....we need keep every "successful" capper who happens to wander into MadJack's place!!!!!!!

Loss of input from guys like dnugs makes your book happy as heck.......cause it costs ya money in the end.

-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

At this point, the only thing that comes to my mind is the line Maximus uses in the movie "Gladiator" when they saluted one and other saying......"Strength and Honor".

"Strength and Honor" gentlemen!

You are true gladiators who fought the good fight and kept the faith! It was an honor to fight along side you this NBA season.

I salute those of you who I call.......friend. ez

that 1/5 is HUGE. The difference between a typical Cubs season (.400 win percentage) and Yankees season (.600 win percentage). Being a longtime Cubs fan and Yankee hater, I know the difference between winner and loser all too well. Great work.

You're right, we should do more propping up of new folks and those who consistently do such a good job here. Big thanks for all your work as well. Enjoy the off-season!
