Good Morning to all. Ok - well the noles didn't come through for me but luckily I played them small. I believe this Cotton Bowl game will bring it back though.

As we all know Oklahoma St. can score points. They average more running yards than they do the pass (227 yards versus 188 yards), but stopping the ground game is the heart of the Mississippi defense "only" giving up a little over 100 yards per game. Unfortunetely, the Mississippi defense can give up chunks of yardage through the air but looking at the stats again - OSU "only" averages 188 yards a game. Eli Manning is a winner and I see him taking over this game.

Mississippi -3

Your thoughts/opinions are appreciated.
Good luck.

I'm on the Rebs as well and I think it is a strong play. Eli gets all the press, but this Ole Miss D is much better than people think. They have really showed up during this late stretch, and only giving up 17 to LSU is a real achievement in my opinion. Have a strong feeling Eli goes out a winner in this one.

To some degree I'm even more impressed that they scored 14 off that LSU defense. I agree that Ole Miss has a defense that is under rated (Not great, but under rated) and that Oklahoma will not be able to match them touchdown for touchdown.

I think you are right-----my gut feeling is that when it comes down to the 4th quarter and someone needs a stop I am more confident in Ole Miss doing it.

Ole Miss front 7 better than given credit for. Ole Miss is senior laiden and enjoy a comraderie that most teams couldn't understand. Eli stayed for his senior year due to his relationships on the team. Like Blackman said, in the 4th quarter with the game on the line Ole Miss D will be able to step up and make the necessary plays.

Ole Miss 27 Ok St 20

So it seems like you like the under as well. I hope Ole Miss -3 comes in easy. My winner yesterday was Georgia and we all know how that came in.

Yeah - I do see many good cappers on Oklahoma state. Oh well - we'll see. I see the score being Ole Miss 31 OSU 23. I do like the under but will not be playing it.

I'm adding a very small play on the under - I think the total will be in the lower fifties and I'll take my chances.

I'm thinking Ole Miss has a better chance to control this game. They have played better talent to this point and it's just a matter of their motivation, which I think will be their. Miss being favored here with all the Ok St support at the game I think is something to take note of.

Great hit guys - always closer than I'd like but a win is a win.

Let's get this late game and make it a great day.
