I'm not knowledgable of this overall. This could be it.

Are they in worse shape than the country as whole?

Yes we are in really bad shape. Not bad unemployment wise. Bad as in the infrastructure is falling apart. Roads and bridges in terrible condition. Basically, he left the problems for the next guy. Not that this guy is any prize either but he did walk into a hornets nest left behind by Romney.

Were there specific policy choices that were made during his tenure where money that should have gone to infrastructure (obviously a major undertaking) went elsewhere?

And many of the infrastructure problems were certainly inherited by him as well. The big dig certainly wasn't started under his watch was it? That was a pretty long time ago.

The BIG dig was full of over costs. Romney did not procesute as he should have. The Big shots at Bechtel and Continental all got off without jail time while pocketing millions.

I do not know of any specific policy that Romney pushed to ignore the crumbling infrastructure.

Here is the type of games he plays. He says he wants to shrink government. So he puts on a hiring freeze. But when the jobs opened up he hired temps (I was one) So it looks like he shrunk the payroll, which he did, but overall he spent more on getting temps. I was later hired. Some guys have such great deals they don't want to go on the State Payroll they would rather be temps or consultants as they call themselves.

To be fair he did push through some good programs. Probably no worse than any other politician but don't be fooled. He is a politician.

He reminds me of John Edwards. A phoney of the highest order.
Did Mitt cheat on his wife?

Oh, yeah that was the scumbag Edwards that cheated on his wife who has cancer, I forgot for Democrats he is higher up on the totem pole now since he cheated on his wife, just like slick Willie.

nope

actually

Romney/Huckabee may have been the best

Romney/Palin :00hour

While Romney was not ready either, Palin is a complete joke.

Personally i'm surprised McCain did not pick Romney. He would have stood a much better chance. Of course that doesn't surprise me. McCain is just not an intelligent man.

I am not a really big Romney fan but he should have been picked over Palin. Plus, Romney is right about the Auto bailout. When you see what is out there (Palin) Romney doesnt look too bad. At least the guy knows business.
