For all of humanitys' vast collective knowledge and technological sophistication, it's amazing to see how fragile and vulnerable we still are. Most of us like to think that we have a high degree of control over our lives, but unfortunately we are shown otherwise...........can't imagine going through a loss of a loved one at such a young age....just terrible.
GUYS, you have no idea what all your thoughts and prayers mean. I have never met any of you, but this site is like family and one day I hope to meet you all and give you all a hug. I really mean this. Honestly!! My heart is crushed but I will survive and help my friend and one day see my pap again!

Man, you have no idea!! I haven't cried yet!! I am an emotional wreck right now and feel like an ass bc I haven't cried yet. I feel like I am heartless!!
I think the best thing you can do is just call everyday and ask if there is anything you can do, or ask to meet him one on one.
Just having some company to work through it seems to work somehow.

I did text him today and got no response!! He recently moved as well, so no idea where he lives!! But, I have talked to another good friend and he wrote him at 9 am today!
Just need to get him through these next few days bc he is head strong!! Damnit, this is horrible. I haven't slept. Gotta see my pap tomorrow and then go be w/ my bud. I am dreading this. Two deaths is really making me vulnerable. I am just in such a state of sadness and despair!

My thoughts r with you.. things like this always strike a chord w/ me b/c my girlfriend is 'round the same age and has had some struggles health-wise... best thing to do is visit/speak with ur buddy as often as possible.. keeping his mind occupied is key for him to 'move on' and not dwell on this.. for his sake.
