Lot of restrictions by the nfl, and the strip no-one wants to deal with a party of 100 at super bowl and the 2 who have spoke with me want 4,000 just for the room and where i had pull we only paid 700, the strip is different then a local casino way different, not to mention there is a big convention going on that week since date is later again, so very freaking hard trying to find a place for private and at a good cost, still working with Orleans but they have pushed me back till end of aug to think if they want to give it a shot, and that is just part of the shit, getting screens in from gts which is the only convention place in this city who does all the tables and chairs and junk like that, casinos av dept only have a few screens for conventions all casinos rent and set up is done union by the company i named and there are only so many big screens in Vegas, also all your casinos have there thing going for there players , makes it really hard like i said sunset i had a in, but lost it when new owners took over all old staff was either fired or forced out, ask Lanny. So I don't know what we are doing , Jerri at the Aladdin which will be planet Hollywood then would have to charge us at least 12 grand for the day if she could get the discount for us and had a room and that is double what we paid last year + drinks which would be another 4500 so will see , been turned down by 10 places already.
Yes, I know it probably takes a lot of work setting this up. Thanks for all of the hard work fletcher. How about having it downtown? Just an idea since the monorail is up it might be a good idea so people won't be complaining about staying here, staying there and more flexibility. I was just anxious to know because I would like to actually attend this one next year. Thanks!!!

have a few calls into the only places besides golden nugget (because it would be sky high) waiting for bids to come back. This is going to be a hard one to pull off but i will some how do it if the cost is right, hell can't charge people 300 bucks a head but still have some things out, really want the orleans.

But seriously Fletch did you try Green Valley Ranch, Palms. Rampart (just did a convention there, nice) or any of the Lake Las Vegas Properties?

Green Valley Ranch is very nice. But being the most upscale in the Station Casinos chain that means lots of money and, most likely, the same problems we had at the Sunset Station Casino.
