dawgball...finally, after trying to send money since you first posted this, it's on it's way. PayPal credited my daughter's account back and I re-opened a PayPal account myself. Thanks

Jake Deniro (still pending clearing but it should be cleared soon)

The total is up to $449.20 (after fees), and we are still waiting on several who said there were donations on the way!!!!

When I get back from Atlanta on Saturday, I will do another recap.

You guys are all very generous people and deserve to be commended!

dawgball, not sure if I hinted I was sending money but my kids, wife and I went to Target and really put together a nice care package. It's going out today.

You guys are great! over $400.00!! That's going to be the "Mother of all care packages". At least 4 or 5 boxes after what I experienced.

Keep up the good work!

Jake--The following message is still in my PayPal account. We'll just give it a few days then I will post when it is official.

Payment Type:
eCheck
This eCheck payment will remain "Uncleared" until the funds have cleared from the sender's account, which usually takes 6-8 business days. If you are shipping an item, please do not ship your item until the funds have cleared into your PayPal account.

Hey...anyone out there who is contributing through Neteller, can you give me some help?

Last Wed (July 6) I transferred funds from my bank account to my Neteller account, which I have used many times. I selected InstaCash as I wanted this to go through right away and was willing to pay the 8.9% fee to do so. My funds have been "Pending" ever since. I called Neteller up and they tell me that it will take up to 5 business days for it to clear. So I ask them how this is "instant" and what this 8.9% fee I am paying is for. They tell me that I have access to my funds right now if I want to send it to a merchant, but I can't use it until Wednesday if I want to transfer Member-to-Member. Furthermore, (and this really floors me and screws up everything), they tell me that the member I want to transfer to cannot withdraw the funds EVER...he can use it at any merchant site, but not withdraw it straight to his bank account.... Otherwise, as the 15-year-old girl who works at Neteller says, "That would be money laundering".

Has anyone else run into this BS, and if so did you get around it? WTF....???

I guess if I wrote him a check and mailed it that would be "money laundering" too?
