Exactly. Most of these managers have no idea what they're doing. This is why I have said for years that winning at baseball is incredibly hard. There is just so much that is out of your hands as a capper. It's impossible to have a winning record in bases without getting lucky quite often. I don't care how good a capper you are, if the breaks don't go your way you will have a losing record. There's no way around it.
The two biggest things that make it hard to win, IMO, are bad coaching decisions and bullpens blowing leads. Oftentimes, maybe MOST of the time, those two things go hand in hand. I am going to lose that AZ bet because their dipshit manager had Aaron frigging Heilman in the game when it was 2-1 in the 7th. Really??? You think HEILMAN is the guy to go to there???
I'm quickly remembering why I usually bet bases for about a month and then quit, or just don't bet them at all.
