i agree with what your saying, but if they were serious about gambling and making some money members like woodson, azbob, greggraffin etc etc find a way to get it done.
sometimes its an excuse and nothing else.
talk and pumping the chest is cheap, if you know what i mean.

I hear you on all accounts. I know you have a lot invested in this place.
It's just frustrating. Several of us were 10-1 / 12-1 / 13-2 in the daily pick contest and using a consensus I was killing the book. I've dropped my plays back down to comfort levels without it.
It's like money lost the way I see it.
This isn't only for fun for me. It's real money and every advantage helps. We keep working as a team, and everybody wins. Its two weeks streaks like this that keep me funded for the remaining year. If I don't press, I go broke in the fall or winter...
MY POINT: When there is a group hitting 85% over 20 days and the contest is pulled, no one is discussing games, and so on, I get a little mouthy.
It's money left on the table.
