Trying to stay up for this late NHL game, but about ready to give up. Took Predators and lucky they still have a chance. If they lose tonight, they will get smoked game 5.
Cubs -105 for 5* vs Nationals - Okay, I have officially bought into this team if oddsmakers are going to keep giving small lines for them despite the fact they're winning about 80% of their games and don't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. They're 21-6 now, setting records for run differential and Scherzer is very tough, but Lackey has actually even better numbers this year. Realize, I would take Scherzer as the better SP, but Lackey has proven very tough. I also watched Washington a lot this past week vs and they have a couple nice hitters, but overall, they're a fairly average lineup. Murphy is crushing and validating his contract, Harper is battling a rare slump after starting hotter than doughnut grease... otherwise, they don't have much hitting at the moment. Cubs, are super hot as Fowler is the best leadoff hitter in baseball and their lineup is mashing a lot right now... the fact their average winning margin is 5+ is absurd. Anyway, I'll take a shot with the Cubbies at almost even money... why buck a cash cow!
Cubs -105 for 5*
Boston -102 @ Yankees - Porcello has been hot and Pineda has sucked... okay, change of venue and anger could get Yankees over the hump, but Red Sox also rip RH pitching. Porcello is 5-0 and realize Red Sox are traveling, but so are the Spankees and they just aren't hitting.
Boston -102 for 5*
Looked at KC @ Cleveland - Line seems accurate so might pass. Ventura got crushed his last outing and Tribe are surer hot.
