today's games:

game1 : I"m actually picking a total again.
i'm liking the MINNY/W-SOX under 9 (-110)
w-sox o/u recrd is 15-23 following a loss.
K.WELLS' O/U record is 1-7 and Lohse is 0-2 (0/U).
hopefully the starters will go atleast 7 because the teams' respective bullpens have not been great in their last 3 games.
minny: 6.20 ERA chicago: 7.31
last 3 games played here in CHICAGO, all three geames went under as MINNY swept.

the under (9 as a total) in CHICAGO's first game of a home series has gone 4-1-2 in the last 7 series. why not another under?

GAME 2:

SEATTLE /TEXAS over 10.5 (-120)
abbott's 4 of 6 starts on the road have gone waaayy over, and i'm hoping Seattle's bats will be back with a vengeance.
doug davis hasn't actually pitched too bad lately as he's had tough luck pitching on the road...ALOT. But he's at home now. this'll be his 5th start at home against NINE on the road??
TEXAS' bullpen ERA in the last 10 has been 5.00 and Seattle's has been around 4.00.
i'm willing to bet that after seattle's low scoring game last nite, they'll wanna come out hard.
the first game of this last three series this season has gone over (3-0.)
9-7, 9-7,11-6.
another interesting thing of note is that the games that doug davis has pitched against seattle, the scores have been 5-4 (seattle), 8-6 (TEXAS), 6-5 (seattle)
so..if anyone can find a texas +1.5 runline..you know the drill...
