I would not consider myself a solid MLB handicapper, as this is my first season capping baseball. I follow a number of different cappers I respect from this forum and across the street, and basically pick concensus plays from between them--and cap those games specifically, to look at the type of information they would likely have teased out of it, to better help my own ability to cap games. Occasionally I will drop a concensus play after look at it thoroughly, but mostly, I see the angels they've teased out and agree with them.
I specifically *don't* post the plays here because I don't want to be creating an unnatural effect of having my "opinion" be counted among those who are actually forming one. Informed opinions are the ones that count, and for now, I have the ability to say that I am not one.
My submitted plays today (***Already submitted on the other board***):
Florida +121
Houston +116
Toronto -128
SF/LAD O 8.5
Note that all these differ from WBA's totals. I still like the SF O total even with the extra half run. The pitchers (especially Zito) are garbage.
