Playing one game today:
ATLANTA +1.5 RUNLINE -125 (1 UNIT)
Had several strong leans today, but sticking with just this one play today. Atlanta on the runline has a ton of value in this one. Of course Schillings been getting a lot of press lately with all that "He's got as many wins as walks this year" amongst other things and that's one reason for the high line against a team like Atlanta.
This play is pretty easy if you just look at the results this year. Take a look at Schilling this season:
True... he is 18-4 this year which is simply awesome, but if you take another look at the results, he has made 24 starts and Arizona's record is just 12-12 winning by more than 1 run when Schilling starts this year! Also, this is against all the teams he's started against (even the weak ones). Today is Atlanta which at getting a run and a half @ -125 I see value in itself.
Now take a look at Millwood:
Millwood is pitching pain free this year for the 1st time in a couple years and said he actually had to adjust to not pitching with pain and that was his biggest obstacle this year. Well, that was around the End of May when it looks like he really started to adapt and realize how awesome he can be pitching with NO pain.
STARTING ON MAY 24TH TO THE PRESENT, MILLWOOD HAS MADE 14 STARTS AND THE BRAVES ARE 12-2 IN THOSE STARTS! OH AND IN CASE YOU'RE ARE WONDERING, THOSE 2 LOSSES WERE BY ONLY 1 RUN.
In other words that's a streak of 14 straight games of either winning or covering the 1.5 runs.......How's that for value!
Also, in case you're wondering, the next couple weeks, I may not be playing every single day. I'm trying to get a lot of stuff done for the upcoming football season...especially college....so may not be capping baseball every single day.
Good luck in all your plays today
