Yesterday: 0-4 (-6.4 Units)

SEASON: 186-141 (+35.25 UNITS)
Sides: 132-106 (+16.75 Units)
Totals: 54-35 (+18.5 Units)
__________________________________________

Worst day of the season so far. I apologize to anyone who coatailed the plays yesterday :(

Nick...if you're reading this....I still disagree with playing those
oh-fer parlays, but I sure wish I would have yesterday

Anyways, let's try to get back on track today.

Playing 5 games today:

FLORIDA +145 (1 UNIT)
OVER 8.5 LA DODGERS -105 (1 UNIT)
MILWAUKEE +105 (1 UNIT)
ANAHEIM -105 (1 UNIT)
UNDER 9.5 CLEVELAND -110 (1 UNIT)

Really busy today....not much time to get to all my reasons, but I do wanna point out a couple of key angles in a couple of these:

In that Florida game, I might be pushing my luck, but I'm gonna try them in this situation again....Florida has beaten Leiter all three games this season and I almost still stayed away because Leiter matches up pretty good with Home Plate Ump Jerry Layne. The one thing that swayed me back on the Marlins is the fact that Florida is 9-1 when Jerry Layne is the Ump. Usually I think something like that record would be more coincidence, but there might be a little more to it in this case...the big KEY....Layne resides in none other than the state of Florida...maybe a little biased in favor of Florida? We'll see. Also Beckett, fresh of the DL pitched 6 innings in a rehap start and did not allow a run, only giving up 4 hits while striking out 12! and only walking one.

Also was gonna play the Dodgers considering with Hollowell behind the plate, the favorites seem to NEVER lose. Maybe gsp can be of help on this. From what I have, Home favorites with Hollowell umping are an amazing 38-8 the past several seasons. However, he seems to have a bit of a tight strikezone and I don't feel Nomo matches up well with him so I opted with the Over. Also helps when you take a look at what Benes did in the rehap assignment in A ball. In Single A, he pitched 7 innings, gave up 8 hits, 7 EARNED RUNS, 6 WALKS and only 3 strikeouts. And remember this was SINGLE A !

Good luck in all your plays today.

Had an odd $15 bucks in there....maybe it'll turn into a couple of dimes :SIB

Of course I'm reading. I read your posts every day. I had an of-fer myself (0-4, -1931) so I wish I would have done that yesterday, too. Good luck today. I am taking it much easier than you today, just one heavy chalk play to try to get myself off the sneid. Good luck today.

Hey, I clobbered all of you guys. I kicked some big-time ass. NDNFAN goes 0-4. Nick Douglas goes 0-4. Hell, I think even Fletcher went winless yesterday.

I guess I really kicked some major handicaper ass, going 0-3-1. Hell, you guys couldn't even get a lousy "push" out of the whole card. So, who's going to carry my lunch today, boys?

:)

Sometimes, you just gotta' laugh.

What was incredible is that all of us were on different sides and totals. I mean, we had 10-12 games or so spread amongst us and all ended up in a big pile of pig shxt.

Good luck today, gentlemen. Things cold not get any worse than the way it went on Monday.

TJ, NJO, and many others -- I could have went over the posts and come up with a laundry list of losers from so many others. Didn't mean to leave you off that esteemed list. Apologies for not including some other names from the Forum. I read almost all the posts here in this section and get a great deal out of the infromation that is provided. What was so incredible was that yesterday, so many of us got ramrodded up the ying yang.

PS -- I'd put the O/U on the "F-word" uttered by all Madjackers in the Montreal game last night at 1,230 (I myself am guilty of about 300 transgressions). "F-ing.......Yoshii F-ing......Brower F-ing.......Stewart F-ing.......Herges (Herges got about 200 F-bomb hits)

I might have all of you beat. I went 0-3 but I did post that I liked Colo and they won. My man is so narrow minded that he won't let me count them.

I feel like a king after going 1-3. And I didnt even have Montreal. My one winner did pay nicely, tho. I found both Cwsox & Cleve. on the run line for -180, a rare occurence and a great price. So I took them both on a middle since CWS play in very few 1 run games anyway. Caught the middle, collected both ways. Hit Em Harder Tonite........THE HITMAN

GL. :) Like STL/LAD OVER 8.5 (-115 @ Royal) myself. Chavez Ravine at daytime, clear skies and in the high 70's, wind out 5-10. Benes absolutely awful.

Benes in Rehab

Benes in Rehab

Listening to Cards on Radio

They said Benes had actually been throwing OK. His last start in single A he gave up most of those runs in the 7th. In his previous starts at Memphis, he had given up 1 run, 1run, 1run, and three runs vs Iowa in his last start vs his brother. So he had not been pitching as poorly as his last start's line looked. Just food for tought, i know game has already started.

Rough day indeed for a bunch yesterday. Nolan...Black Monday is right...that Montreal game would have been really a hard one to take.

Just tuned in to the Dodgers game.....Can we get two more runs?
