Baltimore +195 BoSox are just 6-10 when Wake pitches at home, but my Sox have too much to play for and Wake has been very sharp so I might go the other way or avoid it entirely.

The Sox are just 6-10 when Wakefield pitches at Fenway and with a Lefty going for the O's, Gabe Kapler and Damian Jackson will be in for Nixon and Walker, add that to Doug Mirabelli being Wake's everyday catcher. Maybe I'm giving up some reverse MoJo here when I say Mirabelli, Jackson, and Kapler FOR Varitek, Walker, and Nixon is the reason why I stayed off the Sox tonight. The Sox just lose too much firepower with the way they've been taking on lefties. The kid DuBose has been tough (2-1, 3.18, 22.2 IP over L3) for Baltimore lately. With the playoffs almost inevitable I see the Sox playing passive-aggressive baseball down the stretch. Baltimore also swung the bats well and other than Timlin and Embree this bullpen is pressing.

saw it on the NESN pre-game with Dennis "never a bad hair day" Eckersley and Bob "I can manage better than Grady" Rogers. Still like the value of the play given Wakefield's performance at Fenway this year. Peace.
