Did okay yesterday went 2-2 didn't expect Angels to show up thought it was going to take another game. Had it reversed ANgels showed up and Jays didn't Oh Well. I'm going to stay away from some games today do to the fact the way the season has been going.

EX: Believe Reds should win today due to the new ballpark thing however I believe the Pirates are so much better this year that they should win. I always bet Giants and Mets they are my Teams but I'll stay away from Giants today as I hope Padres aren't pathetic enough to get swept there first three games at home. Long season for them if they do.

Playing

Rangers(1-1) @ Angels(1-1)
Thomson vs Ortiz

Like the Angels here, watched Thomson last year as a Met and basically I think I now have an ulcer. Thomson has an ankle injury lingering which makes him even worse. Ortiz just seems like the way to go in this one as he dominated the Rangers last year going 3-0 with a w/ a 3.78 ERA, Thomson does have a 1-0 record against the Angels w/ a 1.13 ERA, last year he held a 4.31 ERA between the Rockies and Mets going 2-6 in 9 appearences. Looking for Angels to take this one behind Ortiz.

Prediction Angels 8 Rangers - 3
Play - Angels ML + 105

Expos (1-0) @ Braves (0-1)
Z. Day vs H Ramirez

Vladimir Guerreros presence wasn't needed on opening day. Today Ramirez is trying to avoid the Braves from going 0-2 for the first time since 1997. Ramirez is up from Double A this year being put in the rotation as #2 starter due to injuries to Hampton and Byrd. Ramirez went 9-5 with a 3.03 ERA, but had a Great Spring going 4-0 with a 1.90 ERA in 6 starts. Day is out of the bullpen who pitched for the Expos last year going 4-0 with a 2.43 ERA. Going with the Expos on this one Day has more experiance at the Major level though I believe this will be a Test for him to the distance instead of 1-2 innings of work. Ramirez looked great in the spring but the lineups aren't the same, I think a Montreal Lineup will be much tougher on the kid.

Prediction Expos 7 Braves 6
Play Expos +1.5

Twins(1-0) @ Tigers(0-1)
Mays vs Bonderman

Twins should Dominate this game although anything can happen in the Majors. Mays is 2-0 with a 4.77 ERA in three appearences against the Tigers last season. Lifetime is 9-3 with a 2.25 ERA. Bonderman is straight up from Class A and is 20 years old making his first opening start in his career. Combine that with the the supposed pressures of opening day and Minnesota should come out on top. Although I usually go against what "SHOULD" happen I'm going to take the Over and Minnesota in this game, but won't wager to much just in case.

Prediction - Minnesota 11 Tigers 6
2 Plays Twins -1.5, OVER 9.0

Cubs (1-0) @ Mets (0-1)
Al Leiter will pitch tonight for the Mets after Glavine painfully took the loss in a beating by the Cubs 15-2. Like last year the Mets bats were asleep but Leiter is 5-3 Lifetime against the cubs. Matt Clement is 2-2 lifetime against the Mets in 7 starts. With pitchers and Mets Bats sleeping and Mike Piazza out of the lineup I look for the Mets to take fair somewhat better today. Vance Wilson will be behind the plate catching, Mo Vaugn is suspected to take the 4th spot in the Lineup. Going to go with history here and take the under as Leiter usually holds off Cubs batters and Clement fairs well against the Mets. Mets won 6 of 5 last season

Prediction Mets 5 Cubs 2
Play UNDER 7.5 -130

Rockies (0-1) @ Houston (1-0)

Houston pounded the Rockies yesterday in a 10-4 beating. The game was basiaclly over before it started when Oswalt took the mound in my opinion. Miller will be on the hill tonight for the Stros and Cook for the Rockies. Rockies Aaron Cook recorded a win in his only start last year at Minute Maid giving up 4 runs on 7 hits striiking out 4 in 6 innings of works. Miller holds a 12 game win streak from last year while finishing with a 15-4 record and a 3.28 ERA. Miller is 2-1 with a high 4.95 ERA in 3 lifetime starts against the Rockies, but is 20-8 in home starts in 36 starts.
Millers Home record is very impressive and Cooks first appearnce against the Stros seems worthy of taking into consideration of the outcome. I'm going to the take the revenge aproach and say Stros offense continues to pound Colorado on the road, and take the OVER. Would take Rockies also on the stats but gonna go with the OVER if doesn't go Over I think Rockies kept it close and low.

Prediction Astros 6 Rockies 5
Play OVER 9.0 +100

The scores that i post come from what I think the two will score based on past performances from both pitchers facing each other, and some other teams and also home and road record. Went with some favorites thought they looked good. GL EVERYONE
