Runs, runs, runs, flying through pitchers....Astros pull it out...I hope. Anyway it shakes out, been a great series, made a bit of coin on the playoffs.

I appreciate all the folks that post here. Best of luck to you all!!

Thanks for starting the thread, IE...almost did, myself, but figured someone would get one going.

Classy move by Gurriel, btw, with the tipping of the hat to Darvish.
Not a big deal, but I'm glad the media circus didn't swell, if yaknowhatimean.

Just a small over grab, here.
I figured I might do some in-game but game needs to get insane, first.

Hendrix bless baseball.

btw, I am majorly glad they changed the home-field from all-star game irrelevance
to team with the best record.

Not really a big factor here, maybe, but definitely an appropriate move.

I remember the shit all-star game (tied...Milwaukee in '05 or something?
(me memory wrong -318)) whereupon the rule change happened.
It was time to change the rule (vs. the old switch they had, AL,NL,AL,etc)
but they change they made was not kosher.

hey, Jack

Glad to see you're still not pushing up daisies.
Same here. Sorta.

Got back into the sports to help distract myself from certain absurdities that
reality is confronting me with.
No biggie.

I love sports and have recovered from my sports-is-irrelevant mindset,
one which came along with paying too much attention to the news and shit.

99% of everything is irrelevant.
Someone said something similar somewhere.

go get Darvish

I noticed a prop of will Morrow throw a pitch, at like -267.
+100 I woulda been way on it (had no consideration of what line to expect),
but price was insane.

He's already warming up.
Been in all 6, so far.
Loved him briefly, as a Blue Jay; guy was great for a 3 or 4 inning no-hit start, but
was inconsistent and couldn't endure many pitches.

I figured a solid Darvish start was the only way this would go under.
Dodgers need to lay off McCullers out of the strike zone.

As I type this, game just became 5-0.
ratsen fratsen almost grabbed last second astros +142...dagnabbit...
