NY shooting a dismal 28% in the first half. Spreewell is 0-8 in fg's. Char shooting in the neighborhood of 52%. Don't see these percentages staying the same for both teams. I like NY in the sceond half. Any opinions on this?

It's -7 now

It's -7 now

7 points seems like too much for NY to be laying. I'm not playing this one.

Charlotte at NEW YORK

What an embarassing display of BB and a total lack of professionalism on display at MSG.... :( I can't believe how heartless these over-paid punk KNICKS are... it's like they aren't even trying... SPREE is 0 for 7 with umpteen turnovers, and as a team, NY also made as many TO's as baskets!! Unreal...

BUT... I think we have a great shot at SWEEPING the HT plays here. By playing NY -6.5, you're betting that the KNICKS muster up enough pride to get within 20 pts on their OWN court... very likely. ALSO, with CHAR having such a huge lead, I doubt if they play too tenacious on DEF, and will likely turn the game into more of a street ball type tempo and run, run, run.... thus the OVER. IF NY doesn't come back at all, we may be dead. BUT, I think that SPREE and CO will at least pad their stats, and get us a split at worst, but I'm looking for a sweep!!

NY -6.5 - 2 Units & OVER 92 - 2 Units

The Knicks are always digging holes and wiggling out of them. Going with the Knicks -6.5 here for 1 unit.

Thunder....

Thunder....

you going Under, cause it rhymes with THUNDER??? ;)

Just curious... what's your thinking??? I can see CHAR slowing down and maybe not hitting more than 105 total, but that's still 45 more pts... NY I feel gets this game within 15 by the buzzer, in which case they must get to 90, or 57 more pts... that's 102.

IF you're playing NY & UN, you must be thinking NY outscores them like 48-40 or something, and barely covering. Very possible, but I think NY gets closer, pulling within the 15 I mentioned, so I favor over.... we'll see in about an hour!! :D

Definitely taking Charlotte at +7 now for more. As I said in another thread, never count on a bad team to make a run in the 2nd half just because they got pounded in the 1st. Hornets pour it on here.

so far Phil is right, NY is just sucking this game up big time, and at home none the less. Games far from over, but at halftime I was banking that NY would not lose by 20+ at home, and now I'm wondering if they will be able to not lose by 30+.

Need a big 4th quarter from NY
