No thanks on the hedge. Very few teams in the cowboys position tonight cover, it's why I made the bet in the first place. ( 2 straight covers and overs while scoring 30 or more points in each game equals a bet against for me.) Unless u r talking all time great offensive teams w hall of fame qbs I bet against in that situation. The rams w warner, the niners w young , the cowboys w aikman, England the year they first got moss and went undefeated til the Super Bowl , Minnesota that one epic year w Cunningham did it a whole bunch of games in a row, and of course p. manning now. Those fuckers can do it more than twice in a row but usually events conspire to keep from happening more than twice for most of the others. Someone on here once chimed in and called it the principle of diminishing returns. Next week I've already penciled in playing Baltimore for the same reason, Pitt has scored 50 plus and 30 back to back. The other play in this situation is to play the under. I will b going against the huge rise in the total( 44 to 47- or 48 so far). I will play under the 47- and also under the 55 in Denver / ne for this reason.too many points by both teams in the last two games there.

Ps: see the last time the cowboys were in this position . They failed to cover and went under vs Houston. I am not playing the total in tonight's game.

Ok, as evidenced by Cunningham s Vikings , it isn't always a hof qb but a very good one at his peak w a hoard of great help in skill players and linemen alike . I remember Dave Krieg and the Seahawks finishing one season w five straight games scoring 30 plus and covering and going over too. But the fact that I remember a streak like that from probably 30 years ago tells u how infrequently it happens. Some get to cover a third week, but most often w an under, not an over. Maybe Dallas will tonight. But it's not likely and that's what makes a good bet to me.

Down goes Romo and they punt. Had to leave the bar. The bleating from the cowboy fans was getting too loud.i hope he is ok. He was having by far his best year.
