my thoughts......

im hoping the injured Favre wont have to be much of a factor.. Sit in the pocket and make a few throws to keep the D honest. thats all i ask.. Give the Rock to Green..Green alone has run for 4 TDs and 224yrds in the last two games..not good news for a miami D struggling against the run..Miami has allowed 400 total yards rushing in the last two games..

Ray Lucas had six turnovers last game..
Pack leads the NFL in turnovers w/ 23

Carter has been added to the roster.. but it takes longer than a week for a WR and QB to get their timming down.. yes he will catch a few balls.. but my hopes are that he will not yet be much of a factor until he establishes a rythem w/ the new O.


Phins will most likely put this game in the hands of RW...
i figure GB will stuff the line to contain Williams and hold him to a mediocre night
GBs D started shaky but are improving every week..
last three outings not ONE RB has scored.. and the D has not allowed a 100 yrd rusher in 3 games.. shut down Williams as much as possible.. and make Lucas beat you..

and finally.. we all know how Favre and the rest of the Pack play in cold weather.. This is the first game of the season that the warm blooded Phins have played in near freezing temps..

Favre.. as yyz pointed out.. Favre has been known to say hes OK. even if he isnt b/c he is such a competitor.. and his poor play was the result. If he goes down.. this could go to shit real fast..

GB Defense.. they have shown improvement as of late.. but RW has had a week to rest.. if the D cant hold.. they will cover..

so, what about the over/under? do you think with an injured QB, a improving D, WR debute and a Miami D than have given that many rush yds would result in a lot of scoring or back and forth with the special teams coming into play?:shrug:

at first i loved the under..

both teams will try to run all day long...
then i figured.. shit if i know this.. so must the opposing coaches!!

both teams will stuff the lines.. which means passing passing passing..

also turnovers could be a factor.. Favre is the man, but he does throw picks now and again.. Green has also been known to fumble...and Lucas well.. GB leads the NFL in turnovers.. if lucas has half as many picks.. the game could go way over..

that being said..

ill take the under 1st half 21

both teams will try to establish the run first..
Favre is probably sore and may take a bit to get going..
May take the Phins a bit to get warmed up in the cold also..

sometimes when you cap a game.. you concentrate on a couple of different angles.. if your lucky at least one or two of the angles works out and you can squeeze out a win.. but the real fun games are when every angle plays out according to plan.. last nights a$$ whoppin is the result..
