Leinhart has looked relatively good so far but he'll be dealing with a different animal tonight, an without Larry Fitzgerald.

Chicago is averaging 31.2 points while giving up just 7.2 points per game to lead the league in both categories.

Cards "D" giving up 360.8 yards/gm. Bears "O" avging 356.4 yards/gm. Looks like a great match-up for the bears.

No let down for the Bears, not on Monday Night.

Bears steamroll the Cards tonight.

The Cardinals are also very suspect defending the pass, ranking 25th in the league and yielding 231 yards per game.

The cards O-Line has been weak all year, and matching up with Chicago will be a daunting task against the dominant front 7 of the bears.

They high spread worries me a little, especially on Monday Night. But to bet on the Cards I would have to go against everything I've seen and read about this bears team.

I have to bet on the team that is, in my opinion, just way better on both side of the ball.

Bears 27-6

The problem is there is more to this great game of football than stats...

Wouldnt you agree that Denver should have blown out Oak at home??? This game scares me cause this seems to be slump week for a lot of teams that were laying the chalk.. Chic is bound to have a down week.. ?? I dont know.. I know you are right but this game just scares me..

I will probably wait and see if the line moves

I see your point, and I thought the same thing. I guess thats kind of why I title this thread the way I did. I wanted to be able to find a reason to take the points at home on MNF. I just can't.

Games aren't played on paper I realize, but I just can't see a letdown on MNF by the bears. This is there big chance to show the country what they got. They have the spotlight tonight, and I'm positive they are prepared for it.

I can see everybodies point here.

The Broncos definitely aren't the BEARS.

They won't be coming out flat on Monday Night.

Lay the wood.

Sorry Raymond for borrowing your symbols, but I just couldn't resist. :D

Strange things happen on Monday Night games.

The Falcons laid down and took one for the team in New Orleans.

Especially with the home crowd and seeing as this will be Arizona's Super Bowl game. And the Bears can take a break if they want to and follow the on any given Monday Night rule any team can beat any team.

When any NFL game seems like a sure thing.

There could be unaccounted for fumbles and poor play by the Bears, interceptions, defense breakdowns and maybe the Bears thinking they will kill Leinart easily.

Bam , a good kick right to the groin area.

I havnt played Arizona yet but I am thinking about it.

The MNF rule is the primary reason I went with CHI tonight. Otherwise I'd steer very clear.

Good points, but gambling is about assessing the information and making decisions based on it (and your gut of course-maybe more so than the stats). I feel the bears will beat them soundly and all evidence seems to support it.

Stranger things have happened, and I would never say anything is a sure bet. That being said, I feel pretty good about this one.

Agree TDot, but there has to be a reason Vegas set this line at 10... on paper this is at least 17-18 point game. :dizzy:

All eyes will be on Cardinals Stadium for the prime-time debut of the NFL's next big thing: retractable grass. The field grows outside and then gets moved into the covered stadium before game time.

Oddsmakers have the Bears listed as 11-point favorites. The total is set at 38. Chicago (5-0) has lost four consecutive Monday night games, but has won four of its last five meetings against Arizona. The Cardinals are 1-5-1 on Monday nights since 1977.

What do the Bears have against Monday Night games ? 0-4 .........hmmmm
