Got one eye open...

Got one eye open...

NYJ/NWE -6.5 (37.5)

Belichick's "D" trounced the Eagles 7 sacks, 2 picks & 4 fumble recoveries. Brady did a 180 w/ 4 TDs & No INTs.

Patsies are a pathetic 0-6 run as a series host & 4-10 ATS in its 1st HF setup of the season.

JETS are 25-7-2 ATS as a RD & an amazing 15-1 off a SU loss to the Fins.

Blinking at the JETS

--------------------------

PIT/CIN NL
Gimme some points.

-------------------------

JAX/IND -7.5 (43.5)

I give up on the Jags. Rushing "D" held Bills to 1.3 ypr. Obviously the secondary got shredded for 314 pys.
Manning should have a field day here.

Colts are just 8-20-1 ATS as division HFs
Jags suck worse 2-9 ATS vs division foes off a SU win.

Colts Blink Colts

-------------------------

NOR/TEN NL

McNair ??

-----------------------

TB/ATL +3.5 (35)

Bucs take out their frustrations on the Birds.

TB is an incredible 7-1 ATS coming off a loss as a favorite.
Atlanta will be lucky to score 10.

Wink'in the Bucs

----------------------------

KC/HOU +7.5 (42.5)

Tell me it isn't so. 7.5 points on the road ???

GB/AZ +7.5 (42.5)

Clueless at this point in time.

-----------------------

STL/SEA -3 (46)

Seahags have a 10-0 TO edge. You don't lose many games with that crucial stat.

Seattle is 7-1 ATS off a shutout win.

Blink'in Seahags

---------------------------

BAL/SD +1 (40.5)

Yuck. Lean towards HD if anything.

CLE/SF -7.5 (43)

Niners are 11-2-1 ATS in Sept vs foes off ATS setback.
Brownies are missing several ingredients.

have to agree with most of your picks. I'm leaning towards the fins I think though. Jax did some damage on the run, and with williams going, he could be the difference.

Thanks and good luck next sunday

agree this game is mucho important to fins. they surely don't want to be 2 games behind buffalo if at all possible.fins on a teaser looks great and probably on the ml as well.

Senor Capper,

First of all I just want to thank you for all the usefull info you post week to week. I really look towards your picks to influence mine. Being a native san diegan, i see that my chargers are really stinking it up. I've also kept a close eye on baltimore and see that they aren't half as bad as most people think. Seeing some of the matchups between ray lewis vs La Danian, Boller vs the chargers (weak and unexperienced) secondary, I cannot even phathom the chargers comming out of this one with a win. Having said that can you give me a reason or reasons why i shouldn't take baltimore??? I fired early when the game was a pick and see that the chargers are @ +1. Seems like some heavy hitters in vegas also see a mismatch. Another thing, would you give a wink or a blink @ the over?????

Thanks again Senor

ricky williams if i recall didnt do to much last year, although fins were down big and early in the game in miami.not to wory hc williams and co will have a surprise for ricky and the boys this week-end. buffalo hanled the fins quite easily last year, and this team is alot better defensively.

JETS are 25-7-2 ATS as a RD & an amazing 15-1 off a SU loss to the Fins.

Blinking at the JETS

In this series the home team has lost the last 8 ATS in a row and the JETS are a stellar 6-0 ATS in the last 6 against the Patsies. But the JETS have virtually no running game & add the lackluster "D" behind aging Vinny & New England can't afford a second division loss...
...and you would think I would be ALL over the Patsies However I'm not yet sold, mi amgos.
Maybe an OVER game here.
--------------------------

PIT/CIN + 4.5 (46)
Gimme some points.

Cowher will have Pitts "D" fired up after allowing 41 pts LW. But a play obviously depends on the status of Dillons knee

Indy has held their 1st 2 foes to under 300 totals yards, a clear sign of "D" improvement. Jags are still a team in transition & won't be able to trade points w/ Manning & Co.
-------------------------

NOR/TEN - 5.5 (43.5)

McNair struggles I blame it on the lack of a running game. Eddie past his prime? Sure lokked it LW.. On the otherside the Aints only outgained the Texans by 34 yards. BIG NOD

-----------------------

TB/ATL +3.5 (35)

Bucs take out their frustrations on the Birds.

TB is an incredible 7-1 ATS coming off a loss as a favorite.
Atlanta will be lucky to score 10.

Wink'in the Bucs

TB is a perfect 5-0 ATS in last the 5 vs Atlanta. Nothing changes here. Add the fact that the "MAN TO BEAT" in the Sweet 17 Contest (Smath3333) is on them how could you go wrong???

----------------------------

KC/HOU +7.5 (42.5)

Tell me it isn't so. 7.5 points on the road.

Priest or No Priest. Does it or will it matter? Houston WILL be a popular choice amongst handicappers as an improved home underdog of over 7. That "improvement" may be more slowing down KCs attack rather than containing it. Do I dare say the word UNDER? I hate totals.
-------------------------

NYG/WAS -2.5 (43)

WASH AIN'T PRETTY, BUT ARE GETTING THE JOB DONE. LESS THAN 3 IS ANOTHER STANDBY PICK.

G-men have won 4 of the last 5 against the 'Skins & are clearly the better team getting points but still a NOD

------------------------

GB/AZ +7.5 (42.5)

Clueless at this point in time.

FAVRE AND GREEN BAY ARE READY TO TAKE ON THE WORLD, AS LONG AS IT IS EASY. RIDE'EM.

Green Bay and maybe a peek at the over.

-----------------------

STL/SEA -3 (46)

Seahags have a 10-0 TO edge. You don't lose many games with that crucial stat.

Seattle is 7-1 ATS off a shutout win.

Blink'in Seahags

It's Seattles year. They have won the last 3 against the Rams and now Ray Rhodes has put the "Ds" in SeaDDle. Wink a Dink a Doo
---------------------------

BAL/SD +1 (40.5)

Yuck. Lean towards HD if anything.

Double Yuck. Do or die game for the Chargers. Run run run UNDER?
-----------------------

CLE/SF -7.5 (43)

Niners are 11-2-1 ATS in Sept vs foes off ATS setback.
Brownies are missing several ingredients.

Blink'in 49ers

Brownies face their softest "D" yet this year against the 49ers. They maybe a very live underdog.
Pass pass pass OVER?
-------------------------

BUF/MIA -3 (40.5)

Blink'in Bills

Starting to WINK. Fins allowed the aging Vinny to pass for over 350 yards LW. Bledsoe + Henry + Momentum + Rock Solid "D" = Super Bowl. Wink aDink aDink aDinka Doo
-----------------------

Left out this game....
Min/Det + 3.5 (47)

At 1st glance I thinking upset city. However HD are 0-5 so far so I should be a little leary? Nope not at all. Obviously the Lions running game needs to be addressed (Harrington threw 55 passes at GB).

A safer play may be on the OVER 47 which is 4-0 in the last 4 affairs & an amazing 10-1-1 ATS in Detroit.

------------------------

OAK/DEN -4.5

Denver at home.

Plummer or Beuerlein it won't matter. Oakland was outgained by Cincy by nearly 180 total yards.
Faders have won 3 of the last 4 but here the tide turns.
Wink Broncos Wink

Though I would love nothing more than the Faders to upset them putting KC 1st in the division.

"Fins allowed the aging Vinny to pass for over 350 yards "

most of that in junk time playing prevent defense.
jets had barely 100 yds in the first half and only 3 points.
over 1/3 of vinny's pass ydg came in the last 4 mins of
the game.

sorta misleading there. miami pretty much let them dump
passes over the middle up double digits late in the game....

SC I appreciate your knowledge and thank you for your picks. Just and intersting sidenote to the PGH/Cincy game. The ATS loser in game #1 is 14-2 ATS in game #2. PGH has covered the first meeting of the season with cincy since 99'
