If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Why is it that I do not look forward to Monday night football like I used to. Each and every week we had the best game of the week on Monday night. The last few years the good games have been few and far between. It hit a new low tonight as the Ravens sucked so bad they could not even make it a game mid-way through the first quarter. I almost despise the NBA, but my only other sports option toinight was to watch the Rockets and the Mavs, ugh. That 4th quarter was way better than the football game by a long way. I just wish the NFL would look at itself and put the best games on Monday night like they used to. This new commish is trying to fix what is not broken. I could go on and on about the new wave commish, but I will leave that to another time. out...

that buffalo game earlier in the year was awesome... i thought that would be a terrible one but it turned out solid.
there have been some snooozers this year besides that one though... That GB game last week was pretty awesome though...

u get whay u pay for...MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL AS we now has been over since espn got the contract...NBC SUNDAYNIGHT football is now what monday night football was..nbc sun night get to pick its schedule..espn does not and they paid less for it..before espn took over teams with losing records the year before never played on mon night..now sun night has that........im surprised by how many people dont know this...why else would you have cards and 49ers opening mon night season...MON NIGHT IS DEAD!
Dead to who????? They're getting the highest ratings in the history of the network. And crappy games have ALWAYS ended up televised, because of a nonflexible schedule, and the unpredictablility of who's going to be a good team from year to year. However i do agree that sunday night has the better games (and schedule flexibility to boot)
I agree, MNF to me is still a must watch no matter what especially to a hardcore FB guy like myself. Yes there a some stinkers but on the whole it's still FB after the first working day of the week and to me it sure helps getting thru Monday.

i don't like how espn does any football game...there is one too many announcers & they try too hard to be funny...& instead they come off looking foolish.
