Tonight, Joe Flacco will wish he had just finished up a home game against Salisbury University in front a packed crowd of 1500 people and was heading back to his dorm room to celebrate with some microwaveable mac and cheese.

Although I think he is talented enough to be good one day, Pittsburgh should make this a long night for the youngster. A defense that can hold Philly to 10 points at home may just pitch the shut out tonight in Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh Steelers -6

Under 34.5

agree with lot of your analysis, but doesn't a not mobile big ben against a Baltimore Defense very similar to Philly (which sacks BB a mind blowing 9 times) almost equal youngster against Pittsburgh defense:shrug:

I just dont think this Baltimore defense has seen an efficient, disciplined and balanced offensive attack yet this season. Actually, I know they haven't.

I think by virtue of seeing a blitzing scheme like Philly's last week, the steelers will be aware of the mistakes they made and hopefully corrected them throughout the week.

The way I see it, unlike Flacco, Big Ben already has experience and has put up decent numbers against the team he is facing tonight. I also think Parker being out tonight is a good thing for Pitt fans. He wasn't much of a factor against Balt. last season and his absence will force Pitt. to throw the ball, which is possible against Baltimore's D.
