Before the season started, this looked like an intriguing Monday Night matchup. However, with both teams at 4-6 SU on the season, it?s lost a lot of its luster.

The big news in Tampa this past week has been the dismissal of Keyshawn Johnson. It?s hard to believe that Jon Gruden kept the crybaby around this long.

Meanwhile in New York, the Giants have had their problems. They don?t have the internal problems that the Bucs have, instead they continue to find ways to lose football games. The Giants had a three game stretch where they lost three ball games, all of which they could have won. They responded by winning two in a row on the road at Minnesota and over the Jets, but fell apart again losing their last two in a row, at home to the lowly Falcons, and last week they never showed up in Philadelphia.

Not to be outdone by the Giants, the Bucs come into the game having lost three in a row. All three losses were by seven or less points, two by a FG. If the Bucs could have held onto the ball, maybe they would have won a couple of those close ones. Over the past three ball games, the Bucs have a minus six-turnover margin.

Are the Bucs poised to make a late season run? If they can find a way to win out, a 10-6 record should get them in the playoffs. If Tampa can win tonight, they only have one game remaining against a team with a winning record, and that?s in their season finale when they visit Tennessee.

The Sportsbooks look for the Bucs to bounce back tonight as they have them as 5.5-point favorites. The total is a very low 37.5 points, and for very good reason. Trend players most likely know that the Giants are 10-2 under after allowing 24 or more points the previous two weeks, and the Bucs are 19-6 under at home with back-to-back road games on deck. Also, system players know that the league is an 11-5 under with a Monday Night home favorite off a SU division favorite loss.

PICK: UNDER 37.5 AND TAMPA BAY -5.5
