I also heard that the Sunday Night game will move to either ABC or NBC, whichever is the higher bidder. (Which I don't know exactly how that will work since ESPN and ABC are both owned by Disney).

I assume they mean once the contract with ESPN for the Sunday night game expires.

How soon Is ABC contract up. I cant see them just giving it up. Unless due to the ratings down 2 years in a row. Monday might have seen it's best days.

Wow...this sucks. ABC's got the best crew in football at the moment. Hopefully if ABC gets shut out Michaels and Madden are moved over to the ESPN broadcast and those clowns that call SNF games are sent packing. It's the same company...how could you not pick M&M over Patrick, Maguire & Theismann?

madden`s terrible....i`m shocked that anyone still enjoys listening to the same dull schtick after all these years....

michaels is one of the best in the biz....madden`s an albatross around his neck...

he should be following pat summerall into retirement....imo...

btw...i enjoy the sunday night crew....i like a little disagreement in the broadcast...a little levity...

unless Fox or CBS make a bid for MNF, which would not suprise me at all in this business. I bet you there is a good chance that the Miami/Florida St MNF is gonna have better ratings than most of the NFL Monday night games...

hope it stays at abc. i get hdtv through my antenna, if it goes to cable then i will have to buy the direct tv receiver.
