Seems rather sexist to me. Women should beappalled at being called the weaker sex:shrug:
As a side note and coming from a high school perspective, I am not sure why anyone would still advocate paddling in schools. Those that need it because they don't get it at home are the same ones that sue, and those that get it at home do not want others doing it.

personally don't think we should ask our educators to do anything but teach.
if the brats can't follow the rules send their asses home..

Really thought paddling wasn't allowed anymore...there are 19 states that still allow it.. wow....I sometimes wish we had it in NY State... I went to catholic school and we had it...I have a great story about Jimmy B and Father Tobin who we called "the duck".... Someday I'll tell that story...{ think I did yrs ago here in MJ's}.....but....
In 1972 I'm doing my student teaching at Denton Middle School in Texas....If a fight broke out they would send you to the Gym and Coach Norman would give you two 16 oz boxing gloves....he would put you in the basketball center circle and let you fight for a few minutes...if you got out of the circle he would push you back in...I would watch this and couldn't believe this was allowed....Now you would think the stronger person could kick someone's ass in the circle esp. if there bigger and stronger...and it happened often.After about 3 minutes he would stop the fight..then march them down the hallway to his office next to the locker room....he would tell them to bend over and hold your ankles....and with a wooden paddle with holes in it he would line up like someone ready to T-off in golf and take a full swing....whack....one shot..Now Coach Norman was 6'6 played OL at West Texas St in the early 60's.In my 8 weeks there at the Middle School I saw maybe 3 other incidents of Norman's whack.....Every single kid cried...and the entire school was outside Normans office trying to get a peek of the hit... ...there had to be a red mark on those kids asses for a week....they came to school the next day limping ...and then Norman told me that what ever kid that had the advantage in the fight in the circle got the much bigger whack....I laughed my ass off....don't remember much about my student teaching back then but will always remember being in his office when he delivered that shot..he had a follow thru that knocked every kid off his ass....and every single kid walked out crying....coach said he never had repeat offenders....and I could see why....
