Sometimes I'm pretty smart. Yesterday I passed which kept me from going 1-3 and my objective is to make money, not lose it. Lets take a quick look at what's happened so far. Going into the play-offs you knew that if you took the under every game you would be a winner. So far there has only been 1 under. The only dogs that had an outside chance of winning their series were Stl and SF. Oak and NY made me wonder how they made the play-offs and Stl sweeps Ari. I like consistancy when I am betting my hard earned money and so far, only the dogs have shown any. The one thing that has remained consistant is the strike zone. Thank goodness I have only played 3 unders so far and was able to nail one of them. That brings us up to today's game.
Millwood against Ortiz is the key today. How did they make out against this strike zone? Both pitchers won their games but let's look at how they won. Millwood gave up 3 hits, had 7 SO and 0 BB's. Threw 72 pitches in 6 innings for 12 pitches per inning. SF had only 7 players left on base. Ortiz struggled a bit more with this strike zone. He gave up 5 hits, had only 3 SO's and 4 BBs. Atl stranded a whopping 15. Ortiz also went 7 innings and threw 107 pitches or slightly more than 15 per inning. It looks to me that Millwood was more comfortable with the strike zone than Ortiz. Also Ortiz was throwing with a big lead. It does make a difference. I look for both pitchers to go 6 and could come down to the Atl bp. Going with
