Texas Ruffin is throwing like he has all year 69 pitches, 8 k's just wonder if he can go 2 more in this heat. + good to limit lsu looks when your mowing them down.

1st mistake of game, both middle infielders covered on lsu's hit in run, left hole for easy soft sigle 1st and 3rd 1 out.
ruffin has pitched a great game, did not throw the ball he pitched after 2nd batter of game. threw 60% + sliders and back up sliders. one of the best pitched games I have seen all year or in a big game for along time. he was effortless in his approach.
Not tied long, Texas heat aided hr to left off the weak part of bat, had some huge side spin but caught warm breeze and carried out.

Lsu got some help with the heat, HR to center tied at 4 pitch was low middle but heat makes a big difference to carry of a baseball.

What a game!!! LSU huge for me next game and then LSU/over/and another play put in (favorite MLB play) will be my two guar plays with this series next game... Is it tomorrow or the next day?
