The Windy City
LN 2-0, +4.5 units
Season 224-214, +91.1425 units

Going with 1 play so far, leaning on the Kings......

Stars ML-135 x2
The line's dropped enough where I think it's beneficial to take the ML instead of PL, especially a huge, high profiled game like this.
Ottawa has had a murderous 4 week stretch, take a look......

Thu 26 at Buffalo Win 3-2
Fri 27 Montreal Win (OT) 3-2
Mon 30 at Nashville Loss 3-2
Tue 31 at Tampa Bay Win 6-3 .
Thu 2 Atlanta Win 8-1
Sat 4 Buffalo Loss (OT) 2-1
Mon 6 at New York Win 5-2
Wed 8 at Vancouver Loss 6-4
Thu 9 at Calgary Win 1-0
Sat 11 at Edmonton Win 2-0
Tue 14 Tampa Bay Win 7-0
Thu 16 Anaheim Win 3-1
Sat 18 Washington Win 5-2
Mon 20 at Tampa Bay Loss 6-2
Wed 22 at Florida Win 2-1
Thu 23 at Atlanta Tie 3-3
Sat 25 Buffalo Win (OT) 4-3

This will be their 14th game in 26 days, 18th in 32 days. They have started the last few games slow, only to catch up late in the game because that's what good teams do. Only this will be a top notch Western Conference team with only 2 regulation losses at home the whole year, and have only 1 loss in L15 games, not TB, Fla, Atl, or Buff. Win or lose, this will be a great game to watch.

GOOD LUCK TONITE!!

BTW, Dallas is undefeated this season at home in 3/4 situations, 4-0-1, scoring 5, 4, 5, 2, 7 goals in each game.

I like your Dallas play but I am just going to watch and enjoy what will probably be a great game.

I am however leaning towards a play on Buffalo, any thoughts on that game?

Brett,

FWIW, I would take Buff on the PL if I had to make a play. Buff D has been solid and both their goalies have been on fire. I don't like the fact that this is an inter-conference game, and that Buf is only 4-5-4-3 vs Western Conf. Buff also has only scored 3PP goals in their L8 games. The juice is too high for me to make a play on a team that's 15-23-7-3, IMHO.

Hope this helps:)

Dubs,
What I was looking at is that two of those PP goals came in their last two games. It looks like they are trying to get on track with their scoring and this should be a good chance for them to work it out.

Have a good one.

how about these numbers....

I looked at Ottawa and Dallas against playoff teams (if season ended today) for this year....

Ottawa 15-7-4

Dallas 16-4-7

pretty close, eh:shrug:

I have a strong lean to Dallas on the ML- two schools of thought for me on this game- we could see a playoff type game ie. 2-1 or these teams could get into a run and gun 4-3 type game......

I mentioned to you back in early Dec. how the Sens had something like 32 games in 58 days, just crazy. I have hit them in spots, both for and against the Sens. Just really thought they would hold off in the 3rd tonight. Redden was sorrily missed. He is by far and away one of the best D at making the first pass out of the zone and it killed them tonight.
Good job dub man!
