Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Chicago -130
under 6 NJ/Toro -125
Vanc -131
under Grand Salami 76 -113

parlay: AT +1.5, NJ +1.5 (1 unit pays 1)

parlay: Ott ml, Dallas ml, NJ +1.5, MN +1.5 (1 unit pays 3.53)

Chicago off disheartening loss, team+goalie should bounce back nice...besides the under trends in NJ game, they still play hard under new coach.

Van totally digusted with recent play, and Kipper admits he's not 100% with his sore hip. Dallas and Tippett disgusted with recent play too, and should be strong bounceback tonight as STL off win and no desperate play "due" factor to worry about.

I'm thinking teams return after break with new concentration for "fresh start" and such should mean defense, hard work and more unders than usual.

1-1 friday, +0.16 units.

SU pics 29-30-2, -3.16 units
parlays 6-7, +4.68 units

--since I've resumed posting (for 17 days). I was down like 12 units before
that......And, yes, I've always done better at parlays ---lotta practice due to a
history of sheer desperation and chalk betting!

all flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units,
a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).

no SU chalk over -170

Any comments?

Good luck to everyone!

Game Day Hits

Blues radio play-by-play man Chris Kerber gives you the inside scoop on the upcoming game.

December 26, 2005
Stars @ St. Louis
OVERVIEW: Tonight the Blues hit home ice for one game and then head out of town again tomorrow. From now until the Olympic break, the Blues will basically play at a pace of one game every other day. Tonight the Dallas Stars come to town for the first of four meetings this season. The Blues will play in Dallas on Thursday. While the Blues are coming off a 2-1 road trip and a shootout win over the San Jose Sharks, the Stars are coming off a 3-2 loss to the Phoenix Coyotes in Dallas on the 23rd. Counting tonight, the Stars will have played seven of eight games on the road. They are one of the best road teams in the league with a 12-4-0 overall road record.

CASH-ING IN: Jason Bacashihua will start in goal tonight for the Blues. He is playing against the franchise that drafted him in the first round (26th pick) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. He came to the Blues in a trade for defenseman Shawn Belle back in June of 2004. It will be Bacashihua?s fifth consecutive start and sixth straight appearance. Bacashihua won the last game for the Blues in a shootout. Despite playing in the AHL (where the shootout has been used) last season, he faced only one shootout while with the Worcester IceCats.

INJURY UPDATES: Matt Walker is skating every day and is close to being able to return to the line-up. Curtis Sanford skated today before the morning skate. He will strap on the pads tomorrow and see how his hip responds. He is close to being ready to return. Aaron Downey pulled a side muscle during the morning skate in San Jose. He is day-to-day and tried skating this morning. He did not skate for the entire practice.

SAME GUYS IN: The line-up should remain the same tonight as it was in San Jose. Dallas Drake will be back in for his second consecutive game as will be Mike Sillinger. Sillinger missed the Anaheim game on the road with the flu, and Drake returned from a back injury. Kevin Dallman will be scratched for the fifth consecutive game and Jay McClement will be out for the third time in four games.

NO TURCO: Marty Turco did not make the trip with the Stars this morning, who left Dallas at 8 a.m. He is sick in Dallas with the flu. Johan Hedberg will get the start tonight. He has only played in six games this season, but has won his last two games, allowing seven goals on 46 shots. He has only played twice in Dallas? last 21 games.

OLYMPICS: Tonight?s games features several players who will represent the U.S in the upcoming winter Olympics. Doug Weight will play with Dallas? Mike Modano and Bill Guerin for Team USA.
