Now the fun really begins. I've guessed right 3 times and wrong 1 in this round. Should have nailed the total yesterday because I knew that NJ would run but looked for the Bos d that never quite showed up. And in the first qt everything that was thrown toward the backboard went in. Pierce got 27 but he must have had half that in the first qt. Bos shot 41% for the game and 65% from the foul line while NJ shot right at 50% and 90 from the foul line, and still only lost by 7. 6 of that was at the foul line. I might have to take Bos and the points the next game but that's getting ahead of myself.
This line today doesn't make much sense to me. LAL was clearly the better team Sat and was only getting 1'. Then why, are they getting an extra point today? Is it reverse psychology? Do they want us to think that Sac will win this one? Or, do they really think Sac will win and are trying to suck in as many on LA as possible? After the first qt in which LA jumped to a 14 point lead and a 12 point cushion on the total, Sac hung in and actually out- played LA. Even with Webber, Divac and Christy saddled with fouls. Did LA start coasting or on the other side, did the refs making timely calls against Sac keep them from winning. Can Horry, Fox and George shoot almost 70% and score 36 again tonight? How does Webber not get to the foul line while getting 28 points. I look for the game to be called a little different tonight. I'm going to wait and see what the line does this afternoon before I try to out-guess Vegas tonight.
