The Red Sox are glad to be playing the final week
of the season at Fenway Park, where they have
excelled. But they can't be happy about having to
play the Blue Jays, a team that has haunted them
throughout 2005 (only 5-9, -$765 in head to head
games). Expect to see Toronto win at least one or
two games in this series, and tonight looks like a
solid opportunity for the visitor. Curt Schilling has
been hurting all year, and his overall performance
has been far less than hoped for (-$445, with a 5.88
ERA in nine starts). The Jays are big moneymakers
in road night games (+$1700), with Bush posting a
respectable 3.09 ERA in his seven road night starts.
Big price on the game is inevitable, but the underdog
is hard to pass up

angels nice dog

John Lackey and Ervin Santana, the Angels starters for Monday and Tuesday, respectively, have a combined 7-1 career record against the A's.

And with Lackey, he is 5-1 lifetime against the Athletics, and should be the favorite over rookie Joe Blanton tonight.

Lackey - 9-2 TSR as an underdog
