As i've written on another thread, Ferraris declared they will do the same this weekend if Barrichello is up front at the end of the race and Michael second. Don't count on me to put $$ on Rubens this time! :nono: It is too early in the season :rolleyes:

Bridgestone tyres performs well here so expect Sauber and maybe Arrows to surprise a few during qualifying...;)

No worth value to win the race with Michael so a no play for the outright for me....

Yes, you have read correct, Coulthard!:eek: :look: Polesitter last year, he is racing at home. Don't forget Williams don,t have an edge in Monaco and Mc Laren will fare well here...

I know it's a lot of chalk to lay but Irvine has a great record here in Monaco while dela rosa hasn't...

What a strange first day of practices results...:shrug:

In the top 10 we find two bridgestone only (Fisichella and Barrichello). Michelin rules today!

Top 6 :
1. 14 TRULLI Renault
2. 25 MCNISH Toyota
3. 3 COULTHARD McLaren Mercedes
4. 9 FISICHELLA Jordan Honda
5. 24 SALO Toyota
6. 5 R.SCHUMACHER Williams BMW

Barrichello 7th and Michael 11th. I'm sure they were working on the race set up....

Trulli should get it unless button spoil us and i like our two outsiders who had great results today (5th for salo and 2nd Mc Nish). Anyhow, it's just for fun no?:p :cool:

1837 I hope you're right as I bet him too but he was slow as shit in first practice today - almost 2 seconds slower than De La Rosa :confused:.

Any idea why they ran the first practice session today? I thought all F1 races had first practice on Friday, 2nd practice on Saturday and qualifying on Saturday.

You are right Myron about practices dates except for Monaco. That jet set city has a tradition to never practices on friday but thursday instead. Probably because the race is on the street and merchants make more $$$ on friday than thursday so they decided to do it thursday and saturday.

Glamour, jet set, chicks...:) Monaco is special in itself...:p

Don't worry about irvine (well just a little...) He had an accident during the second session (as de la rosa in the first one) so he couldn't finish and second practice times were faster for drivers. Watch him saturday! :cool:

Wow there is a lot here to think about. I hate to pick and choose. But I might narrow it a little. And then I will go plum nuts with the rest of you guys. Stanley where are you I have to hold a little in reserve for his toughts. Chit im almost broke.:D :D
