We have Veterans Day, April 27th, and it celebrates the end of the WW2 from Finland's part. That day 1945 last German forces were expelled from Finland in a bitter War of Lapland ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_Lapland )

Because of our veterans ( and help from Germany ) we don't speak russian here at the moment...
