I like Drakes pressure style defense. They should be able to createa lot of turnovers tonight. Even though both teams have their seeding for the conference tourny, Drake has been a more consistent team, and should win this game.
i'm wary of this game. drake has nothing to gain from this game in terms of conference tourney seeding and coach davis has hinted that he will likely rest some players tonight, including quantel murphy, who has been playing with a stress fracture in his foot. meanwhile, ill state's effort was challenged by their coach and resulted in a much improved level of play at wichita state, though still resulting in a loss. redbirds could be in a good situation to pick up a win tonight.
