Just one so far:

Texas -1.5 for 3 units ? Going against the trend here as you have to go back 5 seasons for a road team winning in this series. Still, I think Texas has righted the ship a bit in their last 2 games, and A&M is still a bad team. If Texas can control the glass like they did in the first game, they can pull this one out. Texas FT shooting is scary though, especially in what should be a close grind it out game, but its not making me back away from this play.

Not playing the Big East Under like I have been on Mondays. Tough one to gauge with Dyson out. I?m sure many are thinking ?should be lower scoring game w/o him?. The oddsmaker definitely tweaked the # down a bit with him out. And then the Total has been driven down even a little more after the opening line. However, you have to remember UConn?s defense isn?t as good with out Dyson, which could mean an Over opportunity. Tough to tell how this will unfold imo. These two teams in the past couple of years have played pretty slow paced games which would support the Under. There are a couple more factors pointing towards the Over though. While both clubs are two of the best in the nation defensively, they also can obviously score so if either side gets a decent lead, the team losing will definitely be pushing the pace.

If the total keeps heading down, I may put a small bet on the Over.

I want to see if that total can't drive down further as well. However, I think UCONN crushes PITT today. Blair is going to have a awful hard time against THE BEAT. Blair is already undersized for a CENTER.

Maybe they're begging for UCONN money, but I just don't like Pittsburgh's chances.

Blair got the better of Thabeet in the game last year. Both have improved this season, but Blair probably moreso. Does that mean Thabeet can't win the battle this year, definitely not, but at the same time I wouldn't bank on that being the difference maker. Everyone in the conference knows Blair is undersized, but that hasn't stopped him from simply dominating in almost every game this year.

I think Pitt gets their points in this game with Dyson being out. There will be two big keys in my mind. First will be if UConn can get increased scoring out of Price and Adrien to make up for Dyson's absence. Second, will be if either big man (Blair or Thabeet) gets into foul trouble. If that does happen, huge advantage to the other team.

I see the reason for OVER...I think there could be alot of fouls and FT's in this game. On top of UCONN's best defender out and PITT has been sketchy on defense lately as well.

However, THE BEAT last year is nowhere near how good he's become this year. I've been VERY impressed.
