YTD 52-30 (+2249)
Well, Guys.......I'm not entirely sure what to think, as inter-league play is about to begin.....I'm going to play two NL league games and one inter-league match-up. Hide all the women and small children.....this has the potential to get ugly......
SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS (+116) Is Brett Tomko really this bad?? I've got some money that says, "No", as his career numbers versus the Rockies aren't that bad, and I think the Giants are playing much better ball right now. (We've got a pool going at the local watering hole, where everyone gets a team for the year, and we all pay 5 bucks a week, and if your team gets 13 runs, you collect for the week. I've got the Giants.
) Thirteen isn't entirely necessary, but enough to win would be nice.......
ST. LOUIS CARDINALS (-129) Chris Carpenter continues to step it up a notch, and I am looking for him to pitch well once again against the Cubs and Glendon Rusch. Carpenter's stats aren't telling a tale.......this guy is for real.
PITTSBURGH PIRATES (+126) Oh.....Lookout!!! Here comes the inaugural interleague play. I am hoping R.A. Dickey can B.A. Dickey and Kip Wells can carry his 4-1 career record past the Rangers, even though it is reported that he is experiencing numbness in his throwing hand........
Speaking of which, my boss is not going to appreciate the numbness my head is going to be experiencing in the morning....
Hey, Monday........:thefinger
Good Luck Everyone,
Sharky
