Season Record: 8-8 for +1.6 units

Texas A&M +130 (@ Baylor) for 2 units ? I just don?t get this line as I figured A&M would be favored, even at Baylor. A&M has the edge offensively and in the pitching matchup. Bears are trying to prevent the 3 game sweep (first two games were @ A&M), but just don?t see it happening. Sophomore Shawn Tolleson is the starter for Baylor. He has a 4.97 ERA in 12 2/3 IP from two starts. Tolleson has a WHIP of 1.58 and 11 K?s thus far. Opponents are batting .273 against him. The Aggies send Sophomore Barret Loux to the mound. Loux has a 4.11 ERA in 15 1/3 IP covering three starts. He has a WHIP of 0.98 and 23 K?s so far this season. Loux is letting batters hit only .172 against him. These two pitchers squared off last year as the Aggies won that game 11-1. Loux pitched 5 scoreless innings while Tolleson didn?t make it out of the third inning, giving up 6 runs. Another thing to consider is that Tolleson hasn?t pitched since Feb. 27th and is likely to be a bit rusty. He didn?t start last weekend as he was being rested from an injury. There are conflicting reports as to what the injury was, but it appears it was tightness in his throwing arm. All signs point to the Aggies in this one, so I?ll gladly take them at a dog price.

GL guys.

That's some serious line movement on a college game that likely isn't getting much action. Hardly ever see big line movements on college lines unless there is a pitcher that is scratched, and usually they will just pull the line. Everyone who bet on this game must have bet A&M.

I'm watching it, just didn't know if you were requesting updqates be posted from your other post.

Tolleson shaky through 2 innings as he has walked 3 and A&M is hitting the ball hard when they are swinging. Loux got a big K in the first to strand runners on 2nd and 3rd. Hopefully he settles in and starts mowing them down like he is capable of.

Baylor gets 1 run in the bottom of the 3rd due to some bad D. A misplayed ball in the outfield (appears they ruled it a Double, but that's questionable) and then an error by the 2B lead to the run. RF Brooks Raley did have a put out at the plate for the third out and end the inning.

heading to the 4th
A&M - 2
Baylor - 1

pitching change w/ 2 outs in the top of the 4th. Tolleson walked a batter and hit another in this inning. new pitcher is Freshman Logan Verrett who is spotting a 0.71 ERA this season and has been Baylor's go to guy out of the pen.

A&M gets a hit off of him right away. 3-1 now w/ runners on the corners and 2 outs.

3-1 A&M heading to the bottom of the 4th.

Scorer gave two hits to Baylor when most would have considered both those miscues in the 3rd to be errors. Nothing like a home scorer helping the offensive stats of his team.

Loux runs into trouble in the bottom of the 6th. He leaves w/ 2 outs and the bases full. Freshman Ross Hales comes into the game. He has a 2.20 ERA in 16 1/3 IP so far this season.

He gives up a grand slam. Bears now lead 5-3.
