Cliff Lee had one of his higher pitch counts of the season last time out. It should have been no surprise he wasn't going out on 3 days rest. Burnett has had some of his best outings on 3 days rest. With Melky Caberra questionable, look for Gardner in center, .400 avg. against Lee. That compliments a hot Damon and a .500 avg against Lee for Swisher in the regular season.
The Phillies are down and flustered. Manuel was even thinking straight enough to flop the batting order for the reliever. I haven't mentioned this before now, but I paid special attention to the crying of the Phillies when they expected to have all their playoff games on primetime TV. They have expected to have the trophy handed to them without much effort. Especially at home. The Phillies have some great players that won't give up, but too many players with a bad attitude that has cost them in this series.
