Norfork -3 over Howard ****
Norfolk is not the same team from last yr that won 25 games and beat Mizzou in the 1st rd...they lost a lot of players but they are still somewhat dangerous.Their top 5 scorers are 6'5,6'6,6'8 and 7'0...they played a tough schedule losing to ECU,NC St and Illi..They have played almost all their games on the rd..Howard is a pretty weak team that has trouble scoring..Like Norfolk tonite despite Fuentes their pt gd might not play...Howard FG%,Offense and 3 pt% are all in the 300's...Norfolk has won the last 5 or 6 in this series by 10,20,10,15,etc...should have no problem tonite.Norfolk's coach played at New Paltz and coached at a college near me..I know his asst coach very well who coached at Delhi...

Strong play for a " off the beaten path" game.
Yest went 4-3

thanks for the pick, Box.
Been down to Lockhart for some barbecue yet?
was on vacation down there in 05 or so and happened to be staying at the Radisson at the bat bridge the day they had a huge celebration for Lance, I guess after his 6th or 7th Tour win; Congress was shut down from the bridge to the capital; I think there were 100,000 people there; dignitaries, Cheryl Crow and Steve Miller band played; it was an amazing outpouring Of city love to the guy- wondering how the press is treating him now down there- talk about a long ass fall from grace-

Thank's Bobblehead and NJ Sammy...watching the end of that game was unreal.. Norfolk up 11 with about 2 and a half minutes left..in total control..then Howard fouls...Johnson missed 5 of 6 and Williams who shoots 90% { one of the top FT shooters in the country misses a few} misses...Then my buddy Evans who coaches Norfolk is telling his player don't foul to stop the clock. Howard on all those missed FT's drives down the court for 3 uncontested lay ups...Norfolk is letting them drive because they don't want them to stop the clock..It got to 5 pts when Evans realized with 30 seconds left Howard is back....unreal...Norfolk hits a FT or two and Howard scores again...Norfolk wins by 5 and covers...unreal...and lucky...

Jamulboy.... Lance is getting killed here and every where..Haven't been to Lockhart yet....will go before I leave...we live close to the Salt Lick and have hit that a few times...when I go back to NY in March will miss the barb-q...it is unreal...when we used to visit my son at ECU the barb-q in North Carolina was great. Most of it was pork....Texas has more beef...like Texas much better..
But you can't beat the NY-NJ hot dogs..Right NJ Sammy...

Box, no matter where you go, you miss things from home. When I leave Iowa, I miss, sweet corn, fat girls and pig smell. It's just the sacrifices one must make in the pursuit of joy
