Duke is the team I know best, just wondering why you like them today? My gut feeling is the line is a tad too high, I would pass or make a small play on Davidson. Duke has had a lengthy layoff, and Davidson always plays Duke tough. The game is also at an odd time for a Monday and students will be home for break. Davidson isn't a powerhouse, but they have played one of the toughest schedules in the country and have kept their losses respectable (with the exception of their first game against Texas Tech). Duke is also not as high a scoring team as in recent years (although this is the best defensive team Duke has had in a very long time). I believe that if Davidson can score 50 points or more, Davidson will cover the spread. If Duke covers, I think it will only be by one or two points. Either way, I would love to be dead wrong here since Duke is my team, best of luck to you with Duke and your other picks!

feel Duke will be looser on the Winter break...they didnt cover the last time, but would have with this line the previous 5 times before that one...

guess we will have to see:shrug:

didn't really look at it till now...Minn at home...looks pretty tough to beat them there...not great ATS though...both teams off Christmas break...line has moved down to 3 in most books...would still side with the Gophers...gl emmitt....what is your lean?

i do see a lot of good cappers on Neb. though...i will probably lay off

thx for the kind words Emmitt, but i think of myself more as lukewarm:tongue ...now NBA, that is a different story (of course, now i just jinxed myself )...

i SHOULD just stick to ACC hoops, but of course i think i know what the right side is on games i dont even know the players on....and go figure i take 2 huge fav's today in ACC play:nono:....more worried now that AR has 'em too

when it comes down to it, this is for enjoyment for me...esp. since i am playing with the Books $$ (even though i dont want to give it back to 'em)
