Hudson Valley area.....NY
St Joseph -17 over FDU ****
Joes is loaded esp on there front line.Nivens,Calathes,Fergunson are 6'9,6'10 and 6'8.Calathes can stick it from the 3,etc...Joes is a top A-10 team...FDU is hurting big time. They lost there top 3 scorers and have no frontline players whar so ever. They will start a 6'8 frosh tonite.Tyler there top player back will not play the 1st semester..He'll sit out 9 games...That means Coach Tom Green has one starter out there.Going to be a long yr for FDU..Joe wins this by 20.Martelli won't run it up.Everyone loves Coach Green...but there so outmanned tonite..

Cuse -15.5 over Siena *
Small play because who knows what the Orange will do tonite.Saints are talented but they gave up 100 pts to JMU the other day.Played no defense [let JMU shoot 65%]and didn't rebound..but this game has been on there calender for years..playing in the "dome".Cuse in a srimmage struggled with St Rose whose campus is right next to Siena..I'm sure they shared notes. Cuse has Devon back with some super frosh. Flynn is a 6'0 pt gd that Boe hasn't ever had in years..a true pt gd that passes and penetrates.Donte Green is another super frosh at 6'11.Harris is back and he's so athletic..this is a tough game to capp because the Cuse is capable of blowing the saints right back on Interstate 88 in a nanu minute or Hasbrouck and company with there experince keep this close..small,small play only because it's under 16 and I think the Cuse fans will watch this kid Flynn play and he might get 7 or 8 assits..

Delaware St +3.5 over Columbia ***
Bright is a stud......Del is athletic and a quicker team..throw in Bright and the Lions will have trouble tonite..Del wins straight up...

Appa St +2.5 over Charlotte ***
Frontline of Appa St is tough.Minter is tough.Appa is very athletic and has depth..Char has Goldwire who is big time..but not enough around him. Wrong team is favored but its early on in the season..Appa wins on the road...plus many Appa fans are attending in Char.

All dogs tonite except St Joes...and Siena is 1 pt from me switching...karma says I should switch to the Saints... naa
Good luck tonite
one strong play...St Joes
ended 1st week with a 13-4-3...record..

Delaware
I respect your opinion and always read your posts but I have to disagree with the Delaware ST pick. I grew up in DE and follow Delaware basketball. Bright is a stud but he lost all four starters from last year. I think they will take some time to gel. Plus Columbia returns all 5 starters and a good front line. I think Columbia can compete this year in a weak Ivy league. We shall see I guess. Good luck this year on your selection!!
