Siena +8 over Fairfield ***
Saints are playing much better esp at home..They beat Manhattan,Peter,and Canisius and lost to Niagara and Iona {by 4}.They still have problems scoring and their FG% is pathetic but.......Brookins is back and has scored 18 and 12 pts in last 2 games.Poole has woken up and avg 16 pts in his last 4 games. Hymes just came back has scored 11,21 and 30 in his last 3 games..and Burdine the biggest headcase on the Saints who was suspended so many times is back..he has sat out so many games for violations,academics,etc...but he played the last 3 games and scored 14,13 and 11..they had OD who last yr led the nation in rebounding and avg's 10 bds...Stags on the rd are an avg team..they did lose to the top 3 MAAC teams but beat Canisius...Needham is the stud and Barrow had 25 the other nite..the one thing Fairfield does do good is defense...they can slow down teams and shut you down. But think the Saints are starting to get some chemistry back with every one getting healthy and could be dangerous these final few weeks.
Would almost make this a strong play but not a Buonguro fan.But still think the Saints can cover and make this close and maybe upset the Stags.

Was at the game the last time these guys played.Worst D-1 game I think I ever saw.WV won in OT by4...Both teams have no offense...Texas can play defense but can't rebound.WV got 17 offensive rebounds last time they played.About 8 or 9 were the kind you kick out to the free line.
Both teams coming off big wins vs the 2 worst teams Texas Tech and TCU...WV's Humprey and Henderson might not play.But they have Murray inside who is talented but the biggest headcase in the country...also Killici,and Noreen who are 6'9 and 6'10...and UT fd Holmes is still out...low scoring game..maybe Murray gets out of the dog house and dominates...snow storm expected so crowd could be small.....
