Vandy +9 over Texas ***
Texas has been down in almost every game at the half...but managed to pull it together and pull out some wins..UTA had them beaten but UT inside game has dominated...think Vandy has a chance to keep this close...they have a solid pt gd in McClellan and with Jones at 6'10 and Odum at 6'9 they can give Ut's frontline some problems..UT has dominated on the glass esp the off. bds..Texas can't shoot from the outside esp the 3...but they play tough defense and their gds are active all the time...think Texas can't pull away from anyone yet...esp.if Dores Johnson can attack the glass.

Iowa St -16.5 over Auburn ***
Cyclones are loaded....what a good starting 5 and have depth.Kane has been a great addition along with Niang,Walker,etc...Auburn is 4-0 and hasn't left their gm...1st game on the road...wrong team to play..and probably half the team is still celebrating the football victory..

WKU -1 over BGreen **
BG's top scorer out..WKU having some problems on offense but they can play defense..

Back with Cal-UCI
On saturday go 3-1,on sunday 1-3....pretty consistent

Like the Commodores plus the points in Austin tonight as well. :yup FYI-Not that it matters but Auburn is 4-1 on the young season. Not gonna bet against my school but you are probably on the right side taking the Cyclones.

Hope you are right about IA STATE tonite, Box. This week is the big shootout here in Des Moines. They bring IOWA - IA STATE - DRAKE AND UNI to town for a "show". Really looking forward to this and hope Clones aren't looking ahead. Everyone plays a little tight for state bragging rights when they come to town.opcorn2

smax..that must be a great week of hoops...Iowa is coached by my boy Fran McCaffery...when he left Siena there was no doubt he would be successful where ever he went.. Iowa jumped on him and a few BE schools didn't...think this is his 3rd year....they will be good....Drake was in the Mizzou Valley in my North Texas days..in 1968 with Maury John as the coach he lost to UCLA by 4 pts in the final 4..Wilie McCarter....UNI has one of the most under rated coaches in hoops in Jacobson...he gets his players to play hard..always dangerous..Iowa St is loaded..got to see them last yr when they played Texas..in row 5....Clyborn was amazing..McGee,Babb and forgot the others...but Niang impressed me the most....so smooth....hope they blow out your boys tonite....but congrads on your footall team

Clones started fuzzy before they got focused and took off. They are going to be very tough to be dealt with especially at Hilton. Such a good deep bench. Fred is a damn good coach.
