This is a spot I like tonight.
100/X
2X-- LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS/ GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS under 204
Sounds like a high scoring game-- Looks like a high scoring game-- I don't think it will be a high scoring game. The Warriors entertain the Clippers tonight coming off of their best offensive output since 1995. They scored 135 points and shot over 50% from the field in their rout of visiting Orlando. I am not sure, but I would guess not one of these Warriors was on that 1995 team. Instead, Golden State has a very young crop of talent that is playing very well together. I don't believe this young team can duplicate the effort from the Orlando game here this evening. Expect a poor shooting performance and forced shots leading to offensive frustration. Moreover, the Clippers enter tonight with a deflating current three game losing streak. In those games, Los Angeles has only averaged 82 points per game. I see this game shaping up in the 190's. Add in the fact that GSW head coach Eric Musselman has challenged his young team to become a better defensive unit, I think this is too many points to score. Under it is.
Summary of past games in this series played at GOLDEN STATE since 1996:
The average score in these games was
LA CLIPPERS 100, GOLDEN STATE 94
Good Luck.
