two top echelon socon teams playing at two lower echelon major conference teams. appy st and ga southern graduated three starters from last years teams, but both return veteran laden teams that will be especially strong under the boards, and both are likely to control the frontcourt against their opponents. fsu and uncc will have the better of the guard play, but both games should play out down to the wire. wouldn't be surprised at all to see the mountaineers come out with the outright win. fsu should win their game but ga southern should dominate the boards as the seminoles were outboarded by a miserable nicholls st team. that should be enough to keep the game in single digits.
